re:Invent 2017 Certification Theme
Every year, thousands of tech professionals go to Las Vegas to participate in re:Invent, AWS’s largest tech summit. Those who hold AWS Certifications are given unique merchandise themed for that year. In 2017, I was tasked with creating a cohesive theme to drive interest in AWS Training and Certification and create a lasting impression.
I built a retro role-playing game video game design structure inspired from old Final Fantasy games. It remains as the highest customer engagement campaign AWS T&C has ever run to this day. Assets included posters, postcards, stickers, animations, interactive web-based games, textile design, brochures, t-shirts, and more.

re:Invent 2019 Certification Theme
Two years later, I was once again asked to develop a theme for re:Invent 2017. This time, however, I was limited to only one asset for distribution due to budget constraints. I conceptualized a new mascot character and produced “TraCer” the Training and Certification robot for t-shirt, stickers, and digital usage at the Certification lounge.
