Illustrology - An Illustrated Zodiac Calendar

My final project for my undergraduate visual communications degree from the University of Kansas was to catalog a sequence of twelve original illustrations in a cohesive and unique theme. I chose to create a calendar aligned around the astrological signs. Each illustration would be done in a different artistic style and include the text, symbol, and animal or being represented by that sign. All illustrations were created out of vector art in Adobe Illustrator and assigned to the month that they represent with indicators for the birth periods within those months. The work helped propel my interest in vector art as an illustrative medium in future projects.
